The global outlook permeates Insper, from its strategic plan to the daily life of students, faculty, and staff. Thinking globally and acting locally is one of the school’s mottos and reflects our commitment to Brazil’s development in dialogue with the world.
Internationalization is a central part of our institutional strategy: to educate innovative and responsible leaders, produce leading knowledge about Brazil, and promote diversity as a source of empathy and solutions. This effort translates into initiatives aimed at developing global competencies in our students and consolidating Insper as a reference in globally connected teaching and research.
Our international governance is supported by the International Advisory Board (IAB), composed of renowned foreign academics with experience at top higher education institutions, and the Internationalization Committee, made up of Insper’s leadership and faculty. Both bodies are dedicated to supporting our internationalization initiatives and pursuit of excellence.
Internationalization initiatives also take shape through partnerships with universities and organizations around the world. Academic collaborations and joint projects allow us to advance research, develop impactful programs, and open pathways for cooperation that resonate beyond borders.
In this context, international mobility — through exchange programs, dual-degree opportunities, short courses, and academic experiences in different countries — broadens horizons and fosters a multicultural environment within our community, encouraging the exchange of perspectives that strengthens teaching, research, and innovation at the school.
Insper is among just 1% of business schools worldwide to hold the so-called “triple crown” — AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditations. Our Engineering programs are also accredited by ABET, a global benchmark for quality. In addition, the school is recognized by the CFA Institute and the Financial Times and participates in networks such as QTEM, UNICON, Executive MBA Council, GBSN, PRME, CLADEA, and FAUBAI.
